Product Development Engineer/Group Leader
Microcell Corporation is immediately looking for a Master's or PhD level Product Development Engineer who will be responsible for designing and developing fuel cell power systems for a variety of applications. Primary responsibilities will include design, development and implementation of fuel cell power systems. May develop a range of fuel cell products. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Will develop and implement advances. Secondary responsibilities will include troubleshooting systems and long term development projects. The position may require occasional trips to Microcell's manufacturing plant in eastern North Carolina. 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area is preferred. Electromechanical aptitude is preferred. Knowledge of LabView, CAD and other engineering software is highly desirable. The candidate must be results oriented and have a strong attention to detail. The candidate will also need solid communication and interpersonal skills; able to interface with different groups within the company; and effectively analyze situations, weigh alternatives, make a decision and then execute.

Process Technologist/Process Chemist/Process Engineer - POSITION CLOSED
Responsibilities include process engineering, process improvement, quality control, production tasks, troubleshooting processes and equipment, product inspection and data collection. Hands-on tasks with extrusion equipment and micro-sized fuel cells. Attention to detail critical. Must have good mechanical skills and familiarity with Microsoft software programs including Word and Excel. Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of experience.
Assembly Technicians - POSITIONS CLOSED
Responsibilities include the fabrication, assembly and quality testing of fuel cell components. Includes repetitive, hands-on production tasks. Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude critical. Previous mechanical/technical hands-on experience preferred but not required. High school graduate or equivalent.
